Recently, the introduction of ICT(Information & Communication Technology)to the Korean construction industry has changed the production methods of the construction industry, and the social advancement of women is increasing. But the entry level of female workers in the Korean construction industry in 2019 is the lowest among all industries. This study was conducted to provide the foundation for policymaking to promote and support the activities of female engineers in the Korean construction industry. To this end, the focus was on identifying the status of female engineers' activities in the Korean construction industry and identifying the problems. As a result of the analysis, the will of female engineers to enter the Korean construction industry is expanding, and barriers between gender by job sector are also showing a tendency to break down to some extent. In order to improve the employment rate and sustainable growth of female engineers in the Korean construction industry, the government needs to support institutional support to eliminate the seemingly invisible hurdle, as well as the construction industry's efforts to improve male-dominated culture and awareness need to be backed up.
